Running the 8346 27 jewel dependable 18000 bph movement, it features a quick-set date and hand winding. Currently it's running at 49 seconds a day crown down. This one has a unique oval 35 mm stainless case tapering at the ends with a custom Seiko Milanese 21 cm bracelet. The watch has light lines on the crystal, case, screw back and bracelet hasp. The dial has a beautiful silver linen texture, applied stainless indices, Seiko logo and a large day/date window (light damage on outer edges) and simple dagger hands. Made in 1967, the English only day/date wheel was unusual and suggests a military PX model and an exotic touch for the Japanese market. This Seiko Business Ace is a rare addition to your collection of vintage Japanese watches.”
