<h2>Ron Guth</h2><p>The 1911 Liberty Head Nickel has the largest mintage of any date in the series, and the largest Nickel mintage of the 1866-1916 time period. As a result, this date is available by the hundreds across the entire grade range from MS62 to MS66. At the top of the condition ladder are a pair of PCGS MS67s. </p><p>The 1911 Nickel usually shows weakness on the stars on the upper obverse, but fully struck examples can also be found with a little bit of hunting.
