    The depth and longevity of love

    This is a beautiful, albeit tragic, love story. I read it decades ago and bought this copy to give to a friend because I can’t part with my book. Knowing that the novel wraps itself around historical fact makes it that much more of a treasure. You will never regret buying this book.
