I like it, but you have to be careful using it
This is a well thought out system that siphons the water from the carafe into the filter area and back into the carafe. The only downside is if those items are not seated exactly or lids not on tight, it can leak. I get my coffee roasted and ground to medium grind and have no problems with with sediment. If you use a finer grind, you can get sediment. Sometimes I have trouble getting the lid off the filter compartment because of a little arthritis, but once I do it is fairly easy to clean. Since there is no paper filter, you need a place you can safely dispose of the dripping wet grounds. In spite of having to be careful using it, it still beats waiting 12 hours to cold brew in the fridge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great cold coffee
This makes great cold coffee, but it is somewhat technical in its setup so you need to follow the directions carefully or you will have a mess too clean up. Good concept. Broke too quickly.
Apparently the newer models have a much more durable filter and carafes that work without leaking out of the bottom. The unit I purchased was an older version that had these issues.
