    Effective and Quiet

    I have used this dehumidifier for 2 weeks and am very pleased with it. I have it the bathroom (about 64 sq ft), of a shaded cabin which has always had a moisture dampness issue. It not only dries the air and fixtures, walls of bathroom, it also heats it up some, which is a plus as it is often rather cold in their in the night and mornings (we are in upstate New York, summers only). We need to empty the water tray about every 10-12 hours, but it does have a auto-shut off switch if trays fills up too much. We have it on about 8-12 hours a day, depending on how humid it is outside at the time. It is fairly quiet, but does have some fan noise.

    Annoying tapping/knocking noise on low, sounds like motor is loose, seriously needs to be fixed but otherwise removes humidity very well.

    Has an annoying knocking/tapping noise on low after about 20 minutes or so, its not as prevalent on high since the fan masks the tapping noise. After a month of use the tapping noise is getting worse and not sure how much longer its going to continue working. I am going to take it apart soon to see about fixing it. ALSO, When you push the off button it takes about 3 minutes or so to actually turn off. Overall it removes humidity quite well. Would be great for bedroom if it wasnt so noisy. Too much humidity in bedroom may keep you stuffy and not able to breathe well.

    Does the job

    Have used this in our camper van when we had a water spill on the rug that was soaked in. Used a towel to absorb what we could, then used this humidifier. It did a great job of pulling water out of the air and lowering the humidity in an unusual situation. Dried out the rug in 3 days of 6-8 hours of use each day, and also raised the temp in the RV a bit, which helps. So I would say in this intensive test, this unit does a great job of dehumidifying in smaller spaces.

    Fine for the price but rattles a lot

    I have two of the exact same units so I can compare nicely. This one rattles like crazy and I’m the same time frame with the same settings takes longer to fill up which tells me it’s less efficient (they should fill at nearly the same time) But it does work and has been running well for several months now.

    Small but powerful

    This is a powerful little unit! I like to keep my garage dry in the winter but because it can be close to 35F, the traditional style dehumidifier is useless. This thing on the other hand both takes a lot of water out of the air at cold temps AND puts a little bit of heat into the garage (perfect for my application). I wish I would have known about it a long time ago. I'm thinking about buying another for my basement.
