Works like original! Can unlock/lock from pretty far away. Back in the day (2001) my F150 remote had a much greater operating range than any of my friend’s vehicles. Same with this replacement. Panic button is recessed like original so less likely to hit it by accident. Buy it.

I bought this remote for a 2006 Ford Ranger I recently purchased from a local owner. It had power door locks but no remote. I asked the previous owner if he ever had a remote for it, but he did not. I performed the turn the key "on" and "off" 8 times test and the locks cycled, so a remote would work. When I received the remote, I programed it and it works great.
