Well, one point to buying this game was to relive the experience of the old Playstation One system that had Various Crash Bandicoot games. This game has great graphics, ALTHOUGH the sound can get annoying at times, as on XBOX 360, play has a weird chipping sound. This will probably be fixed in future updates to the 360 console. Graphics eclipse the Playstation, offering true 3D rendering and game play. You team up with Dr Neo Cortex, which brings a little innovation into game play. After buying, I still haven't finished the game, don't have the time, but when I do, I'll play it. I'd recommend A+
In need to play a Crash game? After finding out that Xbox 360 is able to play this little gem, this is definitely the one. Beautiful animation, awesome humor, complied with even better music, Traveler's Tales has done an outstanding job. It can be a little repetitive searching for diamonds left and right and could've have more excitement with battling foes but all can't be perfect. To sum up- It's a game that came out in 2004 and stills holds up VERY well. Plus you can pick this up for less than 5 bucks, there really is no reason to try this ode to classic platforming and Earthworm Jim-like quirks.
Pros + Same fun, trademark Crash with some twists & new characters. + Open-ended gameplay instead of the same old corrider searching. + Having to team up with Cortex to save the day. Cons - Crash is becoming outdated compared to PS2's big 3 platformers (Sly, Jak, & Ratchet). - Gameplay has a few glitches. - No co-op or multiplayer even with all the new playable characters. Comments Crash is getting old but Twinsanity adds some twists that separate it from your standard platformer. But anyone who has played 'Whiplash' will be slightly familiar with the gameplay found in Twinsanity. Any Crash fan will enjoy. Verdict Must have for Crash fans. Fun platformer for any fan of platform games that don't have terribly high expectations.
I bought the game for my grandson, he has many games that envolve racing, I wanted a game that would make him think more. I like games where you have to collect things to reach the next level, therefore the game crash twinsanity, not only envolves thinking skills, but also an adventure. He has played the game and likes it.
Let me start out by saying I'm being extremely generous giving this game a 2/5. If you want to play this game on X box 360, don't bother. Although this game is compatible with the 360, it lags half the time and just makes you want to break it. This by far the worst Crash game I've ever played. Crash can barely jump and his double jump is very poor. I usually enjoy and love to play classic Crash games, but this one just doesn't do it. A very frustrating feature in this game is the fact that you can not forward 90% of the talking scenes. Another issue I found is the checkpoints are extremely annoying. Unless you see the auto save sign, you will probably be replaying the same thing over and over again if you die. When I first got this game I was very excited to play it, but it fails to grasp my interest. Overall this Crash game turns out to be a disappointment.Read full review
