I tested it briefly with a 7.2 Volt dc input and it powers up and the display seems to work and I recorded it briefly onto what I assume is the 64 megabyte card that's inside of it. I opened the door to eject the tape but nothing happens the door just opens so I don't know if the tape part is working and I can't tell if there's a tape in there new paragraph this is sold as is but hopefully you know more about it than I do !sold as is - with some hints of success”

I needed to use a camera for my college to record dv videos in my video communications class and this one ended up being the same one they used with professional quality and even good enough to catch some footage in cold conditions during my snowboard filming. Its an all around good camera, durable, excellent picture, and small enough to carry, but still containing all the necessities.

Rocks the House!
Picture and sound are excellent! I filmed a rock show my son's band, and the sound was so loud I had to wear ear plugs. Later I watched the footage and the sound was there! I've had other camcorders that no way could handle that amount of volume! They'd crackly and buzz, but this one controled it! No problems with running the tapes or recording! Top notch all the way.
