This seller pays attention to detail. There was a small rectangular piece of foam inside the jewel-case to prevent the CD from rattling around as sometimes happens during shipping. I just love multi-disc boxed sets! They're a great way to delve deeper into an artist's work than a simple greatest hits album and B.B. King: King of the Blues is no exception. Covering slightly more than four decades of the legendary bluesman's career, this four-disc set provides a lovely overview of his work from 1949-1991. Some of the earliest recordings are, shall we say, archival quality, but they nonetheless provide an important document of his work. My husband is a long standing & sitting fan of B. B. King. He has a collection of his records, and some came before me! As technology changed in the method of playing music, the CD and ear phone has a way of placing you right next to this gifted singer and his magical touch to the strings of his lady friend. I am very pleased with the quality of the B. B. King CDs, and with the booklet. It’s a fine gathering of information on his music.My husband is a long standing & sitting fan of B. B. King. If you love the Blues, this will take you on a ride with the King. This covers his material from 1949 through 1991 on four CDs. This release comes with an excellent booklet that is divides into two parts. It has a text that presents a historical perspective of BB's life, by Colin Escott, and, then, an extensive 1992 interview with the King. The whole book is full of awesome photos of BB with dozens of other musicians as well as classic old photos. A real Keeper!If you love the Blues, this will take you on a ride with the King. This covers his material from 1949 through 1991 on four CDs. This release comes with an excellent booklet that is divides into two parts.
