I tried using the Glock OEM "extended" magazine catch, but it protrudes too far from the side of the frame and is very uncomfortable for every day carry. I modified the part, but didn't like the results. I installed the Tango Down Vickers magazine catch and found that it is exactly what I was looking for. Just a little extra to assist in dropping the magazine, but not so much to cause discomfort and an unsightly protrusion from the frame of the pistol. The edges also seem smoother than the sharp edges of the Glock OEM part which aids in overall comfort. Wish I had spent the few extra dollars and purchased this one first!

Installed this in my gen 3 G23 & boy it made a huge difference. Before I installed it, it didn’t seem like it was going to make a huge improvement but boy was I surprised. It’s slightly longer then the stock mag release but not too long where it gets in the way. Before I installed it, I would have to adjust my grip to hit the mag release ( I have fairly large hands I might add). W/ the new mag release, I can drop a mag w/ ease. Best upgrade to my glock so far!

I have this and I have cheaper aftermarket ones. This one does not leave a gap to pinch your pinkie like the cheap ones. It brings you up to 11 rounds. Even with a speed loader I can't get it up to 12. The extra length is nice. Increases the grip length to a Glock 19 though.
