Awesome music marred by incredibly inept DVD presentation
The animated logo plays over and over during each edited episode (approx. 20 minutes or so each, meaning about 30 minutes have been deleted). The same commercials play over and over. Here are (mostly) 5 star artists on a 4 star (lots of lip-synching) show with a 1 star DVD release. If you don't mind hearing the Soul Train theme about 20 times per disc, go for it. I am truly flabbergasted by how poorly this classic series has been edited for DVD. What a soul-sucking disappointment.The animated logo plays over and over during each edited episode (approx. 20 minutes or so each, meaning about 30 minutes have been deleted).
