I played bloodborne (PS4) and Dark Souls 1 (PC) before touching this one. Initially, I thought I would dislike this as Bloodborne has more modern graphics, mechanics, etc. However, as soon as I started playing, I was impressed by the georgeous gaphics and the all too familar Dark Souls game mechanics. Certain things here and there has been "tweaked" compared to DS1, but overall it still plays and feels like a souls game. If you liked DS 1, you will love this. I have not played more than 2 hours as I am still trying to finish Dark Souls 1, then I will attempt the later ones. I just purchased the trilogy accross platforms so that I can continue once I finish them. You do not have to play them in order but I prefer to play in order to enjoy the gameplay and graphics progression through each games. DS1-DS2-DS3-Bloodborne are on my to do list.Read full review

It is a game my son has been wanting. Seeing how excited he was after he opened it at Christmas just made the day. He is sick and a special needs child. For him to have something to take his mind off of everything else makes this game AN AMAZING WINNER...... THANK YOU M

Its hard adjusting this right after coming off the first dark souls, but pretty soon it starts to feel second hand. The first time I fought the dragon rider it took me around ten tries. Although when I got to the double dragon riders I killed them on my first try. It gets easier if you really put the time in.

Great game that runs at 60fps at a 1080p resolution with lots of cool areas to explore and bosses to kill!
