I love the PS3, at first I thought it was a dud, didn't work on my DSL ready TV via HDMI, so moved it to another room with my Sony 27" LCD TV, worked fine. Must be the settings, my other PS3 (the full size one) worked with my DSL ready TV. After connecting it to the LCD, I moved it back to the DSL TV and it worked perfectly. Use it primarily for Amazon and Netflix to watch movies. I've played it somewhat, with football only. Didn't really care for any of the other games that came with it. being used i did purchase insurance for it but the first time i used it ..it kept blacking in and out..i jiggled the cord and the picture would come back on..well after only 2 weeks the cord quit working completely..i looked at the plug and it was missing some teeth in it..had to order a new cord..messaged the seller twice about it with no response..

A nice system with a ton of games, however I feel the sliding top is cheap
I have been a big fan of the Playstation 3 since it first released. I have owned the first edition, slim, and now the Super Slim models. I will say that this Super Slim feels to be the least sturdy version of the Playstation 3. It works just fine and is a good system, but the sliding top sometimes does not close all the way is a little louder than the previous two models for the same reason. The white version is a cool addition to my console lineup and the fact that this has a 500GB is nice as well. Overall it's a great system, but I feel the second edition slim model Playstation 3's are by far the best version of the Playstation 3 to own. Pros: 1. Very small foot print due to being super slim. 2. Plenty of storage Cons: 1. The sliding top is really the only con. It makes it feel ... I have a PS4, but want to play some old titles that PlayStation is to stupid to release on PS4. I'm a big souls fan and currently only playing demon's souls on this console, runs smoothly. So far no problem at all. And I was surprised to that everything came looked brand new
