    Awesome sounds with plenty of connections.

    There are plenty of inputs and outputs for what ever you need but the Best part is how great the sound is and how well the stereo to surround options are there best I've heard even compared to previous meant Marantz models.

    7.1 Outputs not working

    It was unclear if this unit was 4k, and it is not. Also the 7.1 unballanced(rca) jack section does not work. I have to connect to the 11.1 section instead. This will decrease it's resale value dramatically. I am pretty disappointed. The unit works, and sounds amazing! Huge upgrade in sound, but the video processing is not 4k, and that's what I needed. Oh well.

    Amazing sound,must hear to believe .The sound with a quality amp is concert quality listening. The build is solid,there is nothing I can say bad about the Pre amp. Easy set up,easy to understand mega quality everything. Never been more pleased with a purchase.

    The Marantz AV8801 is a solid unit and delivers the goods.

    The Marantz AV8801 has a beautiful sound signature. The clarity and blend of warmth is excellent. I also notice that it has no difficulty resolving complex musical passages. I'm just beginning to dive into all the features and have high confidence that there's plenty more thrills to come.

    Flawless sound

    I have looking to upgrade my Rotel RSP1066 after after 10 years. I researched Rotel, Denon and Marantz and by far this AV8801 wins hands down. The Audyssey speaker set up was remarkable in delivering impeccable sound for my home theater 5.1 configuration. I'm ready to step up to 7.1. The amount of control and internet connectivity far surfaces any other unit on the market as well as for future program updates. this unit represents the future of home theater and sound. Did I mention the ability to set for 11.1 speaker configuration...oh yeah.
