Reliable with a display-viewing drawback
Having used this scale daily for a few months now, I can say it reliably gives accurate weight measurements. Here are a few pros and cons I've seen. Pros: The ability to remove the plastic cover is a bonus. Not using it for food industry applications, I found the cover to be nothing but a nuisance. The platform is well-constructed from stainless steel and is large enough to accommodate small-to-medium boxes for shipment. The display is bright and clear "when viewed from the proper angle" (see below). The ability to weigh up to just over 15 lbs is also a big plus. Cons: The viewing angle to adequately see the display is quite sharp. The photo is a decent representation of this - one needs to be standing over the unit and quite close to it looking almost straight down. If you're ... From 0-15 pound capacity. weighs in pounds / ounces / kilograms / grams/ ..But to be honest here if your mostly weighing things in Grams. This is where this one falls short. It does not have enough resoloution to weigh in half grams etc. If your in need of a scale that can. then this is not the scale for you. This scale will not show you one gram starting weight. ir will show a starting weight of 2 grams. You will have to choose another model of a scale if accuracy in gram measurement is what you need. Besides that , all in all this KD-7000 scale will serve you well.! Hey, you soap makers. ! you need this scale.!!!! Plus, the Auto-off feature in this ... Great scale for soap making
Great scale! Light weight despite its industrial look. I recommend reading the manual as it is very easy to follow and understand to do things such as calibration and setting or resetting auto shut off function. I purchased this as an upgrade to a scale I've had for way too long. I am so happy with this purchase. I highly recommend for soap makers who don't want to spend too much money on an industrial scale.Great scale! Light weight despite its industrial look. Pros and cons
I found this product to be perfect for my needs as a soap maker. Pros: it is light and easy to use and accurate. Cons: doesn't come with a cord to plug in the wall and shuts off automatically after a few mites which has caused me to scramble to get my soaping materials ready. But I have adapted my methods and it works fine.
