Great communication from seller! Explained the process clearly and was positive about the diagnosis of my board. I had recapped my SE/30 mainboard and it wouldn't boot after. Thought it was done for and then came across this service. I sent Andy some photos and explained the situation. Sent the board off and he was able to find the problem and fix it. Came back fully functional, cleaned and tested. SE/30s are hard to come by so well worth the price to resurrect and old classic!

    Black MacBook or A1181or 2,1 or MA701LL/A

    Classic, no longer made Black MacBook. It does show fingerprints, so if this bugs you, buy a "hard cover", which protects and resolves the finger print issue. These aren't the newest processors, so some processor intensive programs are slow, or may not work at all, but you knew this already if your considering going to classic Black. Very easy to work on/in. HD and RAM a piece of cake to upgrade. All Mac's can be over RAMed, this model can take 4 GB, but recognizes 3 GB, instead of the 2 GB that Apple says is the max(www.everymac.com) Your buying a used machine, remember that when you want it to be "new" out of the box when you get it. Hopefully, the previous owner was anal and felt as you do about the machine. I bought mine, because the last hardware update from Apple, didn't refresh ...

    Apple Macbook A1811

    My very first Mac! This computer amazes me! I decide to buy it after talking to a retired IT tech from IBM who told me his entire department had Mac s because they don't get viruses (I just had computer #3 crash with a virus). I found this computer to be fast, easy to use, and best of all, I don't need to spend $150 a year for anti-virus protection that never works and wait 5 minutes after I turn the thing on to start using it. YAH!!!! I was so impressed, I bought a white one same model a week later for my daughter! To all you virus sufferers out there - GET A MAC!!!

    Great Little Laptop

    I bought this macbook some years ago intending to use it for iPhone app development, however due to new rules from Apple, new Apps can only be made for iOS 11, so I bought a brand new Macbook to do apps with, but this older Macbook is a great little laptop, it has a built in webcam for using Facetime, Safari web browser works great on websites like facebook and instagram, Wifi works great also, and it also has an ethernet port. Has Parental Controls also. This laptop cannot be beat for the price.

    Apple products shine for years and work perfectly!

    This is a "classic" apple laptop that is hard to find in good condition. So far it appears to run Lion very well and can handle most tasks efficiently. You could surf the web, utilize all office apps perfectly, watch your movies, download anything you want and of course access your iTunes library. If you are looking to run hi res games/programs/video I would look into purchasing a more updated mac with better video/graphics ability. The build quality is perfect. I am happy with my purchase and am proud to own another perfect apple product.

    Macbooks are jewels, even the second time around!

    This is my third within my family, my daughter had hers first then I purchased one. This one was purchased for son to use in his studio.The things I like most about this MacBook are: 1) Starts in a fraction of the time of my PC. 2) Bright screen and built-in camera. 3) Great battery life. 4) Virtually silent, slim, light, compact. 5) DL DVD burner. If you're considering a new notebook and don't require the extra bells and whistles of the MacBook Pro, I highly recommend the Black MacBook.
