    The book is basic in instructions, outlining in simple form, each one of the embroidery stitches. It would be a good first step to a beginner.

    Embroidery

    I have throughly enjoyed Readers Digest's Complete Book of Embroidery! I am a beginner and really appreciate the step-by-step instructions and pictures. The book also "Includes Crewelwork, Goldwork, Ribbon Embroidery, and Embellishments." I would recommend this book to beginners as well as those who have embroidered for years.
