    Not as Ayurvedic as you might think...

    Himalaya is a well-known and respected manufacturer of Ayurvedic medicines in India. I have researched and used several of their medicines for preventive and remedial purposes, and I have been impressed. However when it comes to so-called 'natural' body-care products, I am not so impressed. The item description on the product page lists only the handful of Ayurvedic and herbal ingredients. But when you get the product and look at the list of ingredients, you may be surprised to find that the first ingredients listed are Water, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum [Vaseline!], Cetyl Alcohol, Microcrystalline Wax, and Stearic Acid--i.e. pretty much the same things you'd find in any drugstore/supermarket product in the U.S--hardly what most of us would think of as 'natural'.
