Purchased to replace the current memory bank which had slowed down. I had a total of 512Mb. I replaced with 2 512Mb units. Replacement made a vast difference to the whole computer performance. I think that machines have an optimum requirement for the setup. Loads of memory do not always make a faster machine. You must make a judgement. I have never made a distinction between brands so cannot opinate. But am satisfied with performance of what I purchased.
i brought this product to help my old computer work better and what can i say it worked a treat! other products i have used have not worked as good as this and im very impressed
