HF is helping our Kitty, Bonnie, keep her food down, without incidents. So far its been going very well.
So far so good. Our cat, Bonnie, also uses dry food in hydrolyzed form. so this hydrolyzed wet/dry combination is perfect. She eats the dry food at odd hours, and wet food at general meal times (6am,Noon, 5pm,10pm). However. our cat won't eat the wet- HF without mixing in some store-shelf brand cat food, like Fancy Feast. We are hoping we can slowly get her to eat HF by itself. For clarity let's call this the "HF-mix": Nonetheless, we use the HF-mix to add in tablesoon of a "Meds-solution," containing water, lysine and gabapentin. (We make 3-days worth of Meds-solution using 3/4 cup of boiled water which is cooled down and add in 500mg capsule of lysine and 50mg of gabapentin). So each day she gets 3 to 4 small bowls of HF-mix with the Meds-solution. (or about a 1/4 can of ... So far so good. Our hope is to ger her to take the Meds solution with straight HF canned wet food, eventually dropping the FancyFeast.
