Kevin Williamson brought back the slasher genre from the dead when he wrote this movie. As a result, the slasher genre got a badly needed reboot. After all, the characters in this film are smart and witty. They're savvy when it comes to clichés. They have personalities and back stories. What's more, sympathy is supposed to be with the people being targeted by the slasher and not the slasher himself. Highly worth watching even if it's only to witness nostalgia for the late 1990's in 111 minutes.Kevin Williamson brought back the slasher genre from the dead when he wrote this movie. This one was Drew Barrymore's, apparently the easiest to find - I still have to get hold of Neve's.
