    Well manufactured and easy to use

    It is very good value for money, as a basic but well manufactured portable radio. I wanted it for the LW band, which is included, with good reception. It is easy to use, with a helpful sloping bandwave readout. My only criticism is the lack of a simple on/off switch or button; it means you have to adjust the volume control every time you use the radio.

    A tranny like they used to be, but better

    Roberts have been an exceptional brand in the field of consumer electrics since I was a boy (!) and before that; I have a feeling they are/were suppliers of MoD equipment but not entirely sure. And they're from Yorkshire so who'd query their virtue. Splendid product, well-priced.. MM

    Roberts radios are far superior

    My mum already has one of these radios plus 2 other makes.Roberts radios are far superior in every way.This new addition makes life easier for her .She has them all over the house and loves listening to them .When she was young that's all there was.She was born in 1924.

    Cheap, and Cheerful , and very easy to move about !!

    Its ok for the money but a bit tinny -however what is not is a £500 sterio , only circa £12.00 so for what I wanted it for its perfect i.e. in the garage or kitchen when cooking , when it's just a bit of background music .
