Makes the Word of God into a Big Joke
I know this review is in the minority, but personally I totally avoid Veggie Tales for my kids. I don't mind a bunch of nonsense so much with non-biblical topics, but I find it hard to believe that Jesus would sanction this foolishness. I tend to think that right after he drove the moneychangers out of the temple, he would have turned on Veggie Tales. The product of a big company's hype and media blitz, the whole thing makes God's Words into a big joke. Silly vegetables act like fools - is this really the impression we want to give children? Veggie Tales is irreverent, even blasphemous, foolishness. Christians are instructed to raise wise, sober children with a deep fear, awe, and respect for God. VeggieTales - Josh and the Big Wall! (2002, DVD)
Done in the loveable Veggie Tales style, this is the story of Joshua's triumph over Jericho. It tells the Biblical story in a child friendly way so that they are able to grasp the moral of the story - trust in God. Our son has watched it over and over, and I am sure it will be a story to hand down to my grandchildren someday as well.

Great movie to share with the children in your life!
This movie is great for my grandchildren. It teaches them the story of Joshua and the wall of Jericho crashing down. It teaches them to trust and obey the instructions of our Father. The songs are toe-tapping and fun to sing-a-long with your little ones. You will enjoy the movie and the time spent with your loved ones.

Have not found a VeggieTale movie that has been just fantastic for children of all ages. Great Christian values. Cute annimation with the vegetables telling a story of meaning and purpose. I would suggest that all of the VeggieTale movies should be viewed. Great DVD
