I bought it used, like new for a good price but, I would have paid more if I had known how good this lens was. Saw the excellent reviews but wasn't sure how it would work as I was disappointed before by cheap manual focus lenses. 50mm (100mm equivalent on m43) f/1.2 for less than $100? Got to be too good to be true. Well, it's not. Excellent all metal build, nice screw on metal lens cap (very retro), metal mount, smooth focus ring, clicked aperture ring. Nothing to complain about and actually impressive physically. (Makes Oly 45mm 1.8 feel cheap...) As for image quality, I am very satisfied even at f/1.2 max aperture. No, it's not crazy sharp, but sharp enough. Meaning, without pixel peeping, images look good. It looks even better with some post processing. Paired with peaking (and even without it), it was easy to manually focus with this lens. Also with ibis, it makes hand holding and shooting with this lens a breeze. Highly recommended. As many reviewers said, it's a no brainer.Read full review
