Great device, I got one new in 2017. Bought this one, 2019 b|c it was a third of the cost as new U12 and has same features. The Squeeze function, is by far, the best addition to a smart device. I hope to see HTC continue to make amazing devices. Most if the features one smartphones, HTC had them first.

Good overall phone but the blue tooth keeps on cutting, which is really annoying on a phone that does not have a headphone jack, pictures are still the best, on par with iphone 11, if you want 2 sims you will have to make due of the internal storage. Also forget about Verizon CDMA standard is not supported.

LOVE THIS PHONE!! I've put it through it's paces and so far it holds up VERY well. Picture taking is nice, and the main reason I grabbed it, for recording shows! Granted the 3d audio recording gives very hit or miss results; recording band practice everything sounded good EXCEPT the cymbal hits were horribly distorted; you're better off using the HighRes audio. Recorded many songs live even being up front of the stage and they all sounded GREAT. Have a link to the Acid King videos if you want to hear and see them. Apps load extremely fast; MUCH faster than the HTC One M8 I had for many years. Audio recording quality is not quite as good as the M8 but damn good in it's own right; video quality is MUCH better even in low light settings... Phone looks and feels great. It's bigger than the M8 obviously but feels comfortable to hold and operate. I am having a bit of trouble with the buttons; only because I'm used to the M8 having the power button on top. Here volume up and down AND power buttons are all on the right side, so it's taking some getting used to. One thing I found neat was since this phone only has one speaker for sound at the bottom, you can completely cover it up with your finger and make it nearly silent. Can't really say I see a lot of negatives about the phone; then again I've only had it a few weeks... I do dig the fact that this records in MKV format; very important since recording my friend's band (their entire set was 37 minutes) was a whopping NINE GIGS... Two 37 minute shows and you've got 1/4 of your phone drive filled already. And that's not even at 4K! DO kinda not like the 6 minute limit on 4k recordings, but it's understandable since I can only imagine how big file sizes must get on a 4k recording! 64 gigs... Double the space of my last phone... Games run quite well, although Nyan Cat seems to run a little poorer than on my M8... Dunno why. Might be the optimization the game uses... Still, emulators like MAME run blazingly fast; some games that would stutter badly on the M8 are superb on this phone. With a true quad core processor inside this phone, I daresay it's quite powerful and it shows... LOVE THIS PHONE!!!Read full review

HTC is a much overlooked brand in the US but I find their phones visually appealing, durable and easy to operate. The camera is great, the battery last all day , it charges quick and I have access to all the best apps. My only gripe is that boomsound does not work with Bluetooth.
