Product Information

The first game built around the iconic rock band, "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith" for the Nintendo Wii puts players in the shoes of the five members of the legendary group to make them experience their road to fame. Progressing through the game career translates into rocking out to scores of their greatest hits as well as some other songs inspired by the band or performed by them on various occasions. The game allows two simultaneous players and features all five members - Joe Perry, Steven Tyler, Tom Hamilton, Brad Whitford, and Joey Kramer. As you progress through the game, you get to perform in the same venues that the band did throughout its career.

    got bored with songs quick but good value

    I enjoyed the game for a few hours and then I got tired of the songs. Wasn't my favorite but it was cheap and would be good for aerosmith fans

    "Guitar Hero - Aerosmith" is a great game for the whole family to enjoy. It's simplistically based color coded touch activated controls are fantastically arranged and it's a really fun game for people just learning to play. While Aerosmith is the main band scheme, it also favors several bands of the same genre. Bands that Aerosmith has inspired, and even the bands that inspired Aerosmith!!! I rated the game 4/5 stars due to it's lack of music selection. While it does have several choices from the bands greatest hits/and some award winning songs, it doesn't differentiate from the regular narrow view of the "Guitar Hero" accesories. If you wish to use a "Rock Band 2" guitar you are out of luck. This game is NOT RockBand accesory ready. BE ADVISED! Look at the instruments availability before ...

    Good for adults and kids

    I like this addition to the guitar hero series, I have fun playing it as much as my 8 year old does. It's challenging and entertaining and learning facts about the band is also nice. I didn't give it excellent because the steven tyler and joe perry charicatures look totally creepy, it's a tad distracting for me, but then again, the other male lead singer doesn't look any better. I just wish they could look more realistic, I don't even think it looks that much like steven tyler. The red thing that's supposed to be DMC's tongue is disturbing, but other than that the music is good and I enjoy it. You won't regret buying this game.

    Weird Complaints bc you don't know early songs?

    Just because you don't know old Aerosmith songs does not mean that this is not a good game. Maybe you should listen to early Aerosmith songs and then decide whether the songs that Aerosmith - an R&B based rock and roll band - so what if they did covers of old songs? Maybe you should get an education in the history of Aerosmith's music before you start complaining like a baby that early Aerosmith tunes are not good music. Yes I wish that there were a lot more of Aerosmith songs versus cover songs - but if they are good songs - who cares? Aerosmith should re-release Guitar Hero with ALL of the songs on "Pandora's Box" - that is a GREAT compilation album. Educate yourself in music history young ones - I still cannot believe that contestants on American Idol ...
