Eventually, I had to send the item back. Asked whether the processor was vendor locked prior to sale. Was told that if the processor didn't work (i.e. was vendor locked) that I may return it. After 3 hours of debug (and tearing down my other machine for testing), I determined that the processor was in fact locked. Seller quickly refunded 100% of the price paid (I paid for return shipping). Seller shipped very quickly and Item was packed very well. Sadly, I wasn't using a Dell Motherboard.
