For anyone who is looking to get a remote control for the ps2 fat model, be aware that there are 2 different versions of the ps2 remote control, one that has the open/close button and power/reset button and one without those two buttons I've just mentioned, so this comes to show that the ps2 remote without those two buttons are designed for the ps2 slim models but can be used for the fat models as well, but if you're looking for a remote for the fat ps2 then make sure it's got the open/close and power/reset button, if it's the slim model you have then don't worry rather it's got those two buttons or not.

The remote is great and it works as intended with my ps2 slim. I was thrown off though because the description of the item said "new factory sealed". When it arrived, the packaging was cut completely off on the top corner and was wrapped in some thin stretchy plastic. This didn't seem factory sealed and if it seemed strange that the original packaging was cut. But other than that it works fine.
