  • A must read, period

This is an intense travel. A very uncommon thriller with twist and a high dramas. I first read it in french after I read the author's book to become Chimino's "Angel Heart" with Mickey Rourke. This one is as good as "Angel Heart" but with more depth and a very interesting historical and sociological panorama. I wish the rights are still available for a feature film so I can get famous directing it. Thanks Mr Hjortsberg. Stéphane
