Oblivion is the 4th of the Elder Scrolls series, all of the games by Bethesda have stunning graphics. The game play is exciting and i have personally enjoyed playing this game for years. The expansions offer new clothing and realms to discover, with new creatures and quests. This is sincerely a game you can play forever. If you are a role player you can enjoy the immersion, the way you can really delve into your character. Having the freedom to do what your character wants to do in a world you can make your own. No one tell you what to do in this game its up to you! I highly recommend this game and all Bethesda's games. Happy Gaming :)

"Why did you buy this product?" - This was the first game I played on Xbox 360, it was a launch title, so I just played it because it came with the system. But I can answer " Why did I buy it AGAIN?" I Have literally put over 150 hours into this game. Its addicting. There's an insane amount of stuff to do, but also different ways to play, and different ways to approach each interaction with a character, enemy or friendly. This game is in the "Lord of the rings era" but minus the crazy wars and hobbits. Its got magic, horses, multiple cities where you can buy houses. Your main player can be stealthy, they can be a knight where you use 1, or 2 handed weapons, made of magic, use fireballs and lightning. There's literally endless quests. There's in game books that you can read if you feel like taking a break.Read full review
The depth of this game is outrageous! If you can do it in real life, you can probably do it in this game. Want to steal someone's silverware? Go ahead, and if you don't get caught, it's yours. I just stole a horse and rode it around the other night. Nothing like those, no one is looking but if you try to steal a guard appears out of nowhere. You can get people to like you more by talking to them and doing this mini-game type thing, but it is not realistic at all, after 2 round you know what the person wants to hear, but sometimes are forced into saying something that you know will make them upset. If you go into a shop and play the game with the owner, they will give you a better deal and pay more for your items. Stores actually close at night, so you can wait around or rest until they open, or you can get arrested trying to pick the lock (I am not good enough to pick the locks in the sotres yet). I haven't played RPG games since super nintendo, but this is a very cool game. Hard to put down! The storyline (I haven't played it too much yet) is gameish. People will say the same things over and over, and you have to select from a list what you 'want' to say, but other than that it is pretty good. There are so many quests that you can do in any order. Also, the enemies seem to grow with you, so if you walk out in the middle of nowhere you won't get mutilated by some level 999 dragon. The graphics are very cheesy looking to me. None of the characters look at all realistic. The first game I got for the 360 was assassin's creed, and the graphics on that game are the best I have ever seen. I feel like I'm watching a movie in HD. When I play Elder Scrolls I don't even get close to that. The graphics aren't so bad as to make the game not worth buying, they are just not very impressive. The voices of the characters are a little lame. None of them really sound like they are real, they sould like they are reading a script for a highschool play or a cheesy commercial. Again, it doesn't deter too much from the game play. All in all, I would suggest it to anyone that is into RPG type walk around and kill things while collecting treasures type games. Although you do kill things 1st person, it is nothing like halo or any of those games. It is a great game to play, very fun and there is sooo much you can do, but it is a par on graphics and voices. Not bad, but nothing outstanding. I bought it, I still play it, and I am very happy with it, I just hope that they get the people that made assassins creed to do the graphics and voices for the next one.Read full review
I tried this game last year to find it to be extremely fun. So I finally decided to buy after becoming addicted. The only thing this game has problems with is getting used to all there is to do. From stealing items and what not from people, to serving as a fighter to help people. A walk-through would be a good start the quests tend to be extremely confusing. On another note you have a wide selection to do. The customization was not the best, but it is very decent. The selection of classes is extremely in depth, and you can choose almost anything from Warrior with magic or an assassin who can use bows. It's all possible. Which is why this game is worth buying or at least trying! Overall this game is a big hit for anyone trying to keep busy with game life.
Bought this for my son. Even though it is old and used, it is in great shape and playing well. He is enjoying it all over again for the first time in years. The game play is clear and like new.
