      Honeywell 6160RF

      This Custom English Touchpad with built-in Wireless Receiver allows you to integrate your existing Hardwired Security protection devices with additional Wireless devices. The soft touch keys are large, easy to use, and are backlit, making them easy to see in darkness. I have installed these Touchpads for the last 10 years and they have all worked perfectly.

      Works as specified. Chime level too low.

      This device allows to add wireless devices to wired alarm panel in time and cost effective way. The biggest downside is the chime level, far lower than on my older keypad, and which cannot be adjusted.

      Problem solved!

      Our alarm system is 18 years old and has two control panels. One of them is this 6160RF model designed to communicate with various wireless sensors around the house. Unfortunately, something failed in our unit that caused it to loose communications with all the sensors, even though it still worked for displaying messages and turning the system on and off, etc. This replacement unit dropped right in and was able to locate all the wireless sensors again. Problem solved!
