    Should have purchased second 60V battery at time of purchase...... Fast forward several years. The original battery wasn't holding a charge as long as it once did. No surprise. Tried to buy battery only to learn my model blower was discontinued. Called Craftsman. They sent me a new 20V model. Anemic power. In my opinion, only food for clearing sidewalk of dry leaves. So, I kept using my 60V model until and charging more frequently. Until now.............RMP

    Brand new but dead

    The battery was completely discharged when it arrived and would not accept a charge. This may have resulted from long-term storage without charging. Google research found that this is something to expect for lithium batteries. It may be unique for this brand -given that Craftsman appears to have discontinued the product, or it might be typical of all lithium batteries.

    OEM battery at a great price

    Actually have not used this battery yet other than charging it to use as a backup. Took the charge perfectly and I have no reason to believe it is anything other than it was described...an oem battery at a great price.

    Crafstman is withholding information

    I bought a crafstman chain saw,which takes 60vt battery.excellent product but ,next day they closed out all ther60v line of tools.I paid $249 for it then they closed out there Line.i see it on close out at Lowes $139 .
