Top notch - lightweight and durable
I bought these as an exact replacement to the Oakleys my husband bought 3+ years ago and parts had just worn out (rubber piece over ear worn out/broke off, lenses scraped and faded). These are the exact same Oakley sunglasses at a fraction of the retail/brick-and-mortar price! He is VERY happy and VERY pleased to have a fresh pair of the most durable shades he has ever owned - let alone the brand new polarized lenses are MUCH better than his worn out ones.I bought these as an exact replacement to the Oakleys my husband bought 3+ years ago and parts had just worn out (rubber piece over ear worn out/broke off, lenses scraped and faded). Very high quality and nicely styled Oakley sunglasses. I much prefer these narrower older styled sunglasses to the newer ones with larger lenses coming out now. The height of the lenses is 35mm and the nose is 18mm which to me has a more comfortable width. On the inside it is 133mm temple to temple and they sit slightly out from the temple giving a more breathier feel behind the lenses. This is a positive for me which means I won't have to take them off and clean the sweat from inside the lenses as often as I have had to previously with a tighter pair of sunglasses. Something to consider if you ride a bike or know you will be sweating a lot on a hot day. Temple length which is from temple to the end point past the ear is 140mm so it's quite long compared to some newer styles, for me not an ... Very high quality and nicely styled Oakley sunglasses. Love these Oakley Straight Jacket. This is my third pair. Really like the way they fit my face and nearly seal off around my eye for wind and dirt protection with reasonable peripheral view. I wear them all the time. Tried a cheap lens replacement that were great out of the gate but trashed in a month with coating flaking off. The Oakley lens are super clear and not too dark. They can also take a beating without degrading the clarity. Glad some companies are still selling them online.Love these Oakley Straight Jacket. This is my third pair.
