    inexpensive exterior fixture, cardboard shipping box....

    The exterior fixture is acceptable in meeting my needs. The bulb sockets do not have a cover to protect the bulb. There are none advertised with this feature in existence, it seems. I have purchased dual exterior spot light fixtures with bulb covers. Covering an exterior bulb seems reasonable. I am concerned as my exterior bulb replacement fixture will be utilizing the more expensive LEDs. (They will be powered on 100% solar roof top generated electricity, backed by a 'battery-like' grid. ...it is corporate and a CEO (PSE) makes an easy $1,000,000 per year....but that is another local Olympia concern by many locals....) This fixture is partly plastic. If I knew that I would have shopped with greater detail. The shopping investment by me was more than few hours. I will admit the ...
