Incorrect Temp
temperature on the unit reads about 3 degrees higher than the actual room temperature. Example to achieve a room temp of 71 degrees the unit is set to about 74. not a serious issue since the desired room temp once set is rarely changed. No regrets.
It is so easy to set and reset, and gives the room temperature when not setting the heating temperature, so most of the time you see the actual temperature. It lights up when needed to read the numbers, and it is very simple, just push the up button to raise the temperature and the next button to lower the temperature. It is important to note that the bottom white bar is not a push button but a slide switch, easy to assume it needs pressing. The P-7000 Honeywell Didgital TL7235A works as advertized and keeps the room at an exact temperature. We also appreciate the luxery of no longer needing to stoop down and adjust the old mechanical thermostat on the baseboard panel that couldn't adjust to warm sunlight in the room. This thermostat is fool proof. It has four buttons: an on-off switch, a button to turn on the back light and a button each for up and down.
