The item was shipped but most of the time when ups picks up it does not get scanned until it gets back to their warehouse or hub. There would be no advantage to sell something and not ship it when our main focus is to sell on line. After years of marketing on Ebay this is not the first time we have run into this issue but have always either shipped a replacement or promptly refunded our customers.
