However honestly, the cutter bits are not sharp and not profiled correctly to cut an engine cylinder sleeve correctly. They must go thru a complete resharpening before any use or the cut job will not be satisfactory.. The cutter holders are 6 to 10 thousandths of an inch thinner in dimension both directions compared to the original Van Norman holders and need shimmed to stay stationary and not chatter in the cut.
