Great little spinning reel..
I like Shimano's finger trigger for opening bail... It works great for those of us who have small hands and fingers.. But I don't know if it would do so with extra large hands... Use this reel with a nice ultra light rod , some small lures and get ready for some great action..

Flat Fishing
This reel held up to some of the best saltwater flat fishing I've done in a while. The drag was easy set after fish on and excellent ratio reeling. I was so impressed I bought a second one !

Shimano QuickFire Affordable One Finger Casting
Not the top of the line QuickCast Spirex but just a little step down I think. Used this reel for about 5 hours the other day and it was smooth functioning other than a bit tight when cranking the bail closed. Well balanced on my Loomis Trout rod. For a $30 reel it worked as good as there $200+ reels. Not sure how or what you really get that will help you fish with a $200 reel. This reel is great and affordable. Get out and get casting with this Shimano QuickFire II REEL. Its well built you wont be disappointed. Not the top of the line QuickCast Spirex but just a little step down I think.
