My sister in law asked me to install this product to fix her outside accent lights. She purchased them at Home Depot. They are junk! Following directions I tried to squeeze the connector onto the existing low voltage cable. The plastic "Quick Clip" connector snapped when I tried to push pieces together. I tried a second connector being careful to just gingerly push them together - it too snapped apart. I tried cleaning the insulation off the part of the cable where the metal connector prongs pushes into the low voltage cable so the prongs did not have to pierce the insulation and it again broke apart in my hands. I gingerly got the fourth clip in and connected but I do not think this product is fit for use.My sister in law asked me to install this product to fix her outside accent lights.
