    Dell UltraSharp 1907FP 19 inch LCD Monitor

    This monitor, along with its successor the 1908FP have consistently garnered very good reviews throughout the industry. Indeed, as someone that was using a slowly fading away CRT screen, I just simply knew I had to do SOMETHING this way and I don't like the more oblong screens that now seem so in vogue. A friend of mine has had this screen for a while and I most admired it; short of doing really fancy aftwork on it, it's quite capable and if you don't want get very fancy this way, you can make some decent settings all in the video card that will do a good job of giving this screen the last bit of real "pronouncement." So, at these prices with a bit of tinkering in the video card you can really get something going here that can equal much more expensive screens for not too much ...

    Dell Ultrasharp LCD 19"

    I build and sell computers, and a big part of that is researching brands to find out what is Good, Bad, and Guly. Dell's UltraSharp LCDs are top of the line. But not every UltraSharp is the same as another. And not just in size. This LCD is was very resonably priced for the quality you get! I was however disapointed in that it does not have the full range of viewable angles that Dell's 2007FP has. This screen will look brighter if tilted up, and darker if tilted down. It is not very noticable, unless you have it next too the 2007PF, like I do. Also unlike the 2007FP, it doesn't have analog inputs such as RCA video, and S-Video.     Good LCD

    The 1907FP, lightened in the price tag by Dell, recently, to compete with the budget market fallout in the 19" LCD market, still is making what can best be described as a good product. After extensive testing, they are still using multiple manufacturers on the LCD panel, much like the 1905FPs of previous years. The 1907FP, however, offers only 8ms models, to be a little more appealing to the widespread gamer market. The colors are very vivid. When using the VGA cable, expect some discoloration, and it may become necessary, especially if doing designs for websites, photography or print media, to install some color management software. You should be wary when purchasing, whether you are getting an 1907FPt, 1907FPf, 1907FPv or a 1907FPc. The difference will be between an AUO panel (the t ...

    Dell UltraSharp™ 1907FP (Black) LCD Monitor

    I really enjoy my Dell UltraSharp monitor. The picture is really clear and it has the option of swiveling the screen. The adjustable stand gives a good range of motion however the monitor does not lock into place unless it is all the way down. This is meant for moving the monitor around safely but I would prefer if it would lock into any position you put it in. Monitor comes with a three year warranty which Dell responds to very quickly and efficiently. I actually had to have mine replaced through warranty a short time after I purchased it but that was to no fault of the buyer and the situation was resolved painlessly. Overall, I would definately recommend this product to anyone.

    high-quality stylin' unit

    The frame around the monitor is narrow (about 1/2 inch), making it a great space-saver. It can handle VGA and DVI inputs both connected at the same time, and you can toggle between them instantly with a button on the front of the monitor. That would be useful if you have two computers. The built-in USB hub is great for USB gear on your desktop, but it goes offline if you power-off the monitor. There is a hidden bracket below the monitor to add Dell's speakers, and together they look styling and save space. I love the monitor's ability to rotate 90 degrees; if your computer's graphics card can rotate the signal, it's nice to have a vertical screen for word-processing and Web-page reading.
