TMG by NOW Brand
TriMethylGlycine (betaine anhydrous) was recommended by Kilmer S. McCully in “The Heart Revolution” as a means for beneficial convertion of homocysteine to methionine, thereby reducing chances of heart disease. I use TMG for that purpose until dietary changes make it unnecessary. Cannot speak to quality of NOW Brand, which I have heard described as the Chevy of neutraceuticals. A search of the web did not indicate any problems, though. Betaine is easy, and therefore cheaper, to manufacture.
