I bought this game because when I was little I always wanted to train killer whales, which are my favorite animal. I have no issues with this game except for the fact that training takes so long! However, I've discovered that if I train the animals until their mood is up then I can quit the game during the middle and their mood will still be up! You lose points this way in the long run but I haven't had any problems with that. Also, even though the game is rated "E for Everyone" there is some language in it. Just a warning! Otherwise, it's a wonderful game!
I purchased this game for my 8 year old daughter. She likes it but not as much as the Littlest Pet Shop games. They are just a little easier for her. Overall a good game and we're enjoying it.

The idea of taking care of Dolphins is awesome, but the 'characters' you have to choose from to be, are wierd. It took my sheltered, 8 year old, 3 days to pick whom she wanted to be: the modistly dressed boy with a BiG attitude or the skimpy dressed, ditzy girl. If it had several normal people to choose from we might recommend it but as is we wouldn't have bought it if we'd played it first!!
My daughter is 7 and is definately in the top 2 of her class (2nd grade). This game was not easy for her to play. I don't know if it just has too much reading or too much looking around on the map, but she spent only a few hours on two different occations playing it. It went back in her bag with all the other games... Better to go with something else.
