    Frontier non organic Slippery Elm powder

    The foil package was old and dented. The Frontier organic slippery elm powder was not available-so I was hoping this would be comparable. The organic is lighter in color , very smooth and has a pleasant taste. This Slippery elm powder is more grainy, darker and has a somewhat unpleasant taste- although it's not the worst I've ever purchased.

    slippery elm good for you

    I have irritable bowel syndrome I have to watch what I eat specific foods will irritate --slippery elm creates a mucus that coats the stomach and the bowels as to protect from foods that irritate among other things .. As I write this review I am eating my breakfast cream of wheat with a teaspoon of slippery elm in it
