    Very cute! Too small.

    As my 60 year old male roommate said: it's cute. All kidding aside, he's right. The harring bone edges and overall finish is not perfect but very very nice. I bought this so I could play it sitting in my recliner but it turned out to be too small for me. I'm A fairly big man, so I went with a Fender CP-100 because everything, including the neck size is a bit larger. I will update this review once I've had a chance to really go over it. This would be great for ladies (smaller hands) and kids for starting out. Seriously! I highly recommend for that, but not for bigger guys. Sorry, it's just too small for us. More later.

    A great little guitar--especially for the money.

    Except for the tuning machines, the guitar exceeded my expectations in every way. The finish is perfect, the fret ends are smooth, and it produces very good sound and volume. For my taste, the action was a bit too high, so I sanded down the saddle and tightened the truss rod just a bit. The tuning machines are lousy, so I replaced them with a better set, and now it's a fine, fine instrument.

    Bought this for my fiance...

    She wanted a smaller guitar for her small frame. And this is perfect. It's made really well. It's just a nice little player. It's a great beginner guitar. And i don't mean that to come off like it's just a cheap piece of junk for a beginner. It's a really good guitar, period. Good job, Ibanez!

    couch guitar with a decent sound for 149.00

    for the money and the price it is a gr8 couch guitar. run some scales, practice some chords or just play them. it has good playability and action. the tone of the sound is good for this price range & one could say, not bad in general. only critique is that the g,b & e strings sound a bit thin. the other ones are fine. very happy with the guitar for a cheap, more then decent couch ax. oh, gr8 inlay & binding went into the guitar as well.

    Nice size.

    I put nylon strings on it for my old fingers and tuned it to open G.. It's quiet so it doesn't disturb the whole house but I'm going to add a piezo pickup so I can amp it up a bit..
