    Bruce trying to be Artsie

    Bruce's voice is outstanding and up front on this sacd, but at the expense of all instrumentation. The 5.1 is practically non-existent, with the rear speakers spouting very limited background noise and very low level instrumentation. The recording is just plane poor. At the same time Bruce spent this concert taking his hard Hamlin blue collar loved songs, and got all Artsie and soft with them. If you enjoy new Bruce and/or the Nebraska album, you would probably like this. If you want to hear ramrod, born in the usa, and jungleland, rock out, you'll find this concert recording lackluster. It probably would've helped if it were at least. Better live recording....but it's not.

    the best!!!!!!

    this is bruce springsteens best live work , i just wish it had backstreets and the promise, like the dvd of the same title had. i got the cd because i loved my dvd of the concert so much.
