The build is simple and straightforward, but with quality parts. I haven't decided if I'm going to integrate it in my radio or into a separate box for aesthetics. As its says in the instruction letter, it works better if you leave the antenna wire coiled up. I installed my transmitter circuit board into an old Radio Shack Realistic radio with internals removed. I drilled a hole on the side for the input, installed & soldered a battery switch on the side & battery in the original radio battery compartment. The transmitter antenna wire is inside.
