    This is one solid processor.

    The Intel Pentium D series is quite extensive and the processor itself is very efficient at that. From the Pentium D 805 @ 2.66Ghz to the Pentium D 965 Extreme @ 3.73Ghz, The Pentium D 915 is a great processor sitting stellar in between the two. I can't say it's excellent because there are way more better processors out there but if you want to talk about "Bang for your Buck", look no further! That's why the Pentium D 915 is and always will be a strong, formidable processor to me and will always be keeping an eye out for this very cpu.

    worthwhile upgrade for a Celeron D for under twenty bucks

    works well replacing a Celeron D. Supplier's shipment is prompt, and well packed. I used it to replace the CPU in an old Compaq desktop. The Bios recognizes the new CPU right away. It will certainly extend the old desktop's life a few years more.
