About this product

Product Information

Players take the role of a goldfish super-spy to save Christmas (and the world itself) in this comedic adventure-puzzle game. Popular in the "16-bit" era of early '90s, the parodistic James Pond series returns in this Game Boy Advance version of Codename RoboCod, inspired by his 1992 Commodore 64 adventure. In this episode, the evil Dr. Maybe has infiltrated the toy workshop at the North Pole and wired all the elves with powerful explosives, but the heroic Underwater Agent can make use of high-tech gadgets -- including the powerful RoboCod suit -- to stop the villain's nefarious plan before it's too late.

  • Bringing back memories of what gaming was like

I love this game! I've played it many times and each time I find new rooms and levels to go in to. Plus if you work the goodies right you can get power boosts, infinite life, all sorts of help. The trick is you have to be good at spelling and decoding what the objects are, doing that will make the game a lot easier and more fun. For instance if you see an apple, a faucet, a globe, a piece of cake, and other items like that think of words you can spell by clicking them in order of the word. Also a globe can be the world/earth or a faucet a tap/spigot and so on. If you think of 'power' up words then you'll have it made. penguin, oilcan, wine, earth, racket those are just a few of the words that spell out an upgrade for you.

  • I couldn't get into it at all

I usually buy games for others but purchases this for myself based on the previous review- I love all Mario games as well as Sonic ones but this was frustrating. I am an adult and did not have the patience, its also problematic because you need to write down a code in order to be able to continue where you left off. I stopped playing it after three days. I moved on to the Fantastic Four which was good and Tarzan Return of the Jungle which is a little complex but I have really enjoyed.
