    One knob on the set fits a car

    I bought this set to replace two of three heater knobs that broke off from the control panel of my girlfriend's Ford Escape. Only one of the thee knobs was a perfect match. The other two are obviously designed for other vehicles and would not slide on at all. This fact should clearly be mentioned in the packaging and in any advertising. Although the quality of construction appears to be good, having to buy three sets of knobs to outfit a full heater panel is expensive and wasteful.

    Ok, but not as expected.

    The left knob and center knob worked great. The right knob, temperature control knob would not go on with out modification and it did not line up with the markings, When set to cold, it points to almost full hot

    Ford Heater Control Knobs

    All in all the one knob that broke on my vehicle was replaced by one of the three that come in this kit and appears to be a perfect fit. My complaint is that when I ordered this I assumed that I was getting a full set of three to replace all of my old knobs. It turns out that it is a set of three different styles of knobs, so two of them have no application for my truck.
