  • how indians use wild plants for food, medicine and craf

with todays failing economy...its good to find a book that will not only help with finding food but finding medicines in the woods....why did i decide to buy it..well i just dont trust modern medicine, and i certainly dont trust all the foods in the super markets today..too many chemicals and preservatives ,so why not buy a book that will help feed you and help with medicine.the only thing i didnt like about the book was there was no pictures to fully describe what a person is looking for..

  • Bountiful Knowledge!

Excellent book containing detailed information on all the plants, with many pictures, charts, diagrams, etc., to get a full view of how the Chippewa Natives were connected with nature, and placed what vegetation they had around them to all sorts of good uses. Examples are information on plants in their medicinal form, ( used as medicine ), food usage and collection, dyeing, crafts, charms - and so much more! Great learning tool, especially for those interested in how the Natives used these items, as historical knowledge, for those who frequent outdoors, or simply like to learn about plants, and | or making their own crafts.

  • Believe in the Native American Ways

I decided to buy this book because I believe in natural healing, and I am trying to go back to it to get myself healthy again. It is perfect for me! I am in the process of using what this book is teaching me. Only drawback is that the book in paperback, and since it will be getting alot of use, it might get too beat up in the future. I've put a clear plastic cove on it to solve the problem.
